What to Expect

It looks like the next two years are going to be filled with Democratic infighting! This is sure going to be fun.  The fighting between the different factions of the Democratic party will only bring to the surface the inability of the party to agree on any broad range of issues.  We will not see progress from the "progressive" party, instead we witness stagnation.  They will be unable to agree across the board like the Republican party knows how to do.  Of course, the Republican party has to put up with a lot of elitists running it, so we're not perfect either.   However, we can sit down and put together a party platform that makes sense to everyone in the Republican party, including those in middle America who vote.  The Democrats are experts at imploding in times of crisis and, presently, we are in a crisis:  the war against terrorism.  So, all of you true conservatives out there, don't worry, we'll be back in power.  But heed this:  the Republican party must move more to the right, instead of the lukewarm middle.  Stop spending, committing crimes, keep taxes low, and support a strong "offensive" military and we'll be just fine.  If we do these things, the Democratic party will be weakened tremendously.
